[worker] MC ↔ Hermes Kanban durable bridge implemented (branch cr/mc-4640-..., commits fcaa1f00 + 9884e2d8). Durable, attempt-bound MC-side bridge (not comment-only) per the council-reviewed v1 plan. Additive only — no edits to mc_pickup/scheduler/app/runtime. Delivered: - kanban_bridge.py — 3 self-ensured mc.db tables (kanban_bridges/_events/_deps) + open/harvest/inspect/block/unblock/cancel/mark_done/check_timeouts. Hard invariant: a Kanban 'done' is a CLAIM, never sets MC ticket terminal status. Stale-rejection (ticket terminal/missing, attempt superseded, acceptance-drift), cancellation sync (block+archive root+children), per-bridge timeout. MC-linked roots created BLOCKED so the gateway dispatcher can't auto-claim before the controller releases them. - kanban_bridge_ctl.py — operator/Telegram control surface (inspect/block/unblock/done/cancel). No poller added; CCGram stays sole Telegram poller. - scripts/mc_hermes_kanban_reconciler.py + tasks/mc-hermes-kanban-reconciler.md — restart-safe harvest owner, fcntl single-owner lock, ships DISABLED. - docs/kanban-bridge.md + plan. Council: full /second-opinion (Codex + Gemini + Opus = approve-with-changes; GLM = approve; Kimi conn-dropped). All confirmed the never-set-MC-terminal invariant holds, direct mc.db writes are an acceptable MC-primitive boundary, SQL/subprocess injection-safe. Applied consensus fixes: exactly-once guarded claim transition, atomic event seq, reconciler flock, superseded gate-clear, true side-effect-free dry-run, JSON-error→recovery. Verified no MC trigger auto-promotes status off workflow_events (invariant holds transitively). Tests: 21/21 (temp db, mocked hermes). Runtime-profile lint clean. Awaiting Elmar: enable the reconciler (currently disabled) + run the first live research/synthesis pilot.

Controller gate (ground-truth): DONE_UNMERGED — code complete + 21 tests pass, but on branch cr/mc-4640-...-a5ed8c, NOT merged to master = nothing live. Merge is a real deploy (1232-line kanban_bridge.py + activates a new mc-hermes-kanban-reconciler scheduler task), so controller will merge in a focused pass with a safety check on the reconciler schedule, not a rushed triage merge. Held for controller merge-then-close.

Delivered (additive only — no edits to mc_pickup/scheduler/app/runtime): - kanban_bridge.py — lib+CLI, self-ensures 3 mc.db tables (kanban_bridges/_events/_deps). open/harvest/inspect/block/unblock/cancel/record_done_claim/check_timeouts. HARD INVARIANT verified by grep: never writes tickets.status, only ticket_comments (audit). MC-linked roots created --initial-status blocked so the gateway dispatcher can't auto-claim before controller unblock. - kanban_bridge_ctl.py — operator/Telegram control surface (no poller; CCGram stays sole poller). - scripts/mc_hermes_kanban_reconciler.py + tasks/mc-hermes-kanban-reconciler.md — restart-safe harvest owner, fcntl single-owner lock. SHIPS DISABLED (enabled:false). runtime_profile direct_mixed + OVERRIDES note. - docs/kanban-bridge.md + docs/plans/2026-06-03-mc-4640-kanban-bridge.md. Council via /second-opinion: Codex+Gemini+GLM+Opus returned (Kimi conn-dropped = valid 4-model council). All confirmed never-set-MC-terminal invariant + SQL/subprocess injection-safety hold. Applied all 4 HIGH must-fixes (H1 blocked-while-open not recovery; H2 re-open after terminal via partial-unique index; H3a guarded terminal transitions; H3b atomic marker+claim, dropped buggy already_consumed). Each has a dedicated test. Tests: 38/38 pass (temp db + mocked hermes). Runtime-profile lint clean. py_compile clean. Non-coding gate remaining: Elmar approval to go live (create mc-internal board + flip reconciler enabled:true). Reconciler ships DISABLED so nothing activates on merge. Note: ticket carries mobile_review_required but this is a pure Python lib/CLI/scheduler — no UI surface, Tessa N/A.

Reopened/routed for workflow repair after MC-4866 exposed the bug: the internal Kanban card completed but MC stayed `waiting`/`kanban_active` until manual cleanup. Do not close MC-4640: live master/db do not contain the durable bridge described in older comments (`kanban_bridge.py` absent; no `kanban_bridges` tables). Created internal Kanban card t_c1916997 to implement the durable MC↔Hermes Kanban bridge/reconciler with visibility-only guardrails and a regression for stale `kanban_active` cleanup.

Controller gate closed MC-4640 (visibility-only bridge): deployed `a716c27d26087a6de68d1611b004b13c4dd3ff07` with `mc_orchestrator_deploy.py --apply --reload-mc` (prior 9a3c47d, health OK, pushed master). Verified live checkout tests: `tests/test_kanban_bridge.py tests/test_control_room_pickup.py tests/test_board_v2.py::TestMC4779PendingHumanise` => 98 passed; compileall passed. Verified default Kanban DB path resolves to `/home/lucienne/.hermes/kanban/boards/mc-internal/kanban.db`, and profile-local HOME fallback resolves `/tmp/h/.hermes/profiles/codexbuilder` to `/tmp/h/.hermes/kanban/boards/mc-internal/kanban.db`. Verified `kanban_bridges` table exists after deploy and `/api/health` passed during deploy. Closing; no MC pickup/runtime/start/send/harvest endpoint was called.
