Controller recovery (Lucienne): Root cause confirmed by codexbuilder investigation: shell semicolon in scheduler command allowed compile to run after failed git pull, hitting unmerged files. Actions taken: 1. Applied fail-fast fix to /home/lucienne/workspace/tasks/wiki-people-pages-compile.md — pull failure now exits 1 before compile runs 2. Removed stale .git/AUTO_MERGE sentinel from live PKA checkout 3. Re-enabled scheduler task (enabled: true) Note: Live PKA is 23 commits behind origin/master — the compile will attempt pull on next run. If pull fails again (dirty checkout conflict), the fail-fast will prevent the compile-from-conflict scenario. A clean-worktree approach was recommended by the investigator but is a larger change; the fail-fast is the minimal safe fix. Next scheduled run: 09:30 on the 1st of next month. Low urgency to verify then.

Controller triage: scheduler failure is technical and does not need Elmar input. I routed recovery to internal Kanban card t_6897dd76 (assignee codexbuilder) in isolated PKA worktree /home/lucienne/workspace/state/kanban-worktrees/mc-4857-pka-wiki-compile-conflict; verified worker pid 2731077 cwd matches that isolated worktree. MC remains visibility-only: no MC pickup/runtime endpoints were used. The scheduler task stays auto-suspended until the internal handoff is gated and the controller safely re-enables it.

Controller gate complete: internal Kanban card t_6897dd76 finished and I independently verified the recovery. Live PKA has no unmerged index (`git ls-files -u` empty), and the stale failure was caused by the monthly people-wiki compile trying to sync/commit while the checkout had dirty/staged work. I landed two durable fixes outside MC runtimes: luci-workspace a7ff7d92 updates `tasks/wiki-people-pages-compile.md` so the task is re-enabled and fails fast/aborts instead of running the compiler after a failed pull; claude b5340c0 updates `wiki_person_pages_compile.sh` so it commits only the wiki pages compiled in that run, not unrelated pre-staged PKA files. Validation: `bash -n` passed for the compiler script and the task command; both commits were pushed to their remotes; MC health is on 127.0.0.1:3001. MC visibility-only boundary preserved: no MC pickup/runtime endpoints were used.
